This year’s Prescott Trails Challenge is off to a great start! Over 20 riders participated in the kickoff group rides led by Chloe and Bruce and met at The County Seat afterward for lunch. Thank you to everyone who participated, Chloe and Bruce for leading the rides, and to The County Seat for hosting us!
Join us for the next guided ride on Saturday, August 10th! We will be meeting at Metate Trailhead in Granite Basin at 7:30 am. There will be a 9 mile route and an 18 mile route.
If you are unfamiliar with the PTC, it is a fundraising event for Bean Peaks designed to showcase Prescott Trails while raising money. Registration is open!
This year’s challenge has many more ride options, catering to more skill sets and ability levels while showcasing more of our amazing trail system here in Prescott.
With over 15 different routes, there’s something to challenge everyone: 5-mile to 66-mile routes, and the classic 56-mile Prescott Circle Trail. The PTC welcomes adaptive bikes and e-bikes, too, with routes designed for both.

August 28th
Subaru Loves Learning Event right here at Findlay Subaru Prescott!
Come by the dealership before August 28th to write a message that will be given to local teachers.
Subaru Loves Learning is an initiative by Subaru to address the lack of essential supplies and materials in high-needs schools. Many teachers, often spending their own money, struggle to provide these resources. Subaru, in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, is the largest corporate supporter of the organization, aiding over 750,000 students. Their current donation of $12,500 will support 25 classrooms and 625 students, with an additional $2,500 for the school principal to use on a project in areas like libraries, arts, special education, or STEM. |

DID YOU KNOW? |
To identify signs of wear on your Subaru's shocks and struts, pay attention to several key indicators. First, listen for any unusual noises, such as clunking or banging, when driving over bumps. Next, observe your vehicle’s handling; excessive bouncing or a noticeable decrease in stability during turns can signal worn shocks or struts. Check for uneven tire wear, which can result from compromised suspension components. Additionally, inspect the shocks and struts themselves for visible signs of leakage or damage, such as oil spots on the strut shafts. If you notice any of these symptoms, it’s a good idea to have your suspension system inspected by a professional.

Maintaining the cabin air filter in your Subaru is crucial for ensuring clean air inside your vehicle and optimal performance of your HVAC system. It's generally recommended to check and potentially replace the cabin air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, or roughly once a year, depending on your driving conditions. If you frequently drive in dusty or pollen-heavy environments, you might need to replace it more often. Regularly inspecting the filter for debris and reduced airflow can help determine if it's time for a replacement. If you're unsure or notice a significant drop in air quality or an increase in cabin noise, it's a good idea to visit your Subaru retailer for a professional evaluation and service. They can provide specific recommendations based on your model and driving habits.

Meet Eden, a charming lady with a sparkling personality. She's a quick learner and loves to stay active, always eager to try new things and make her pack proud. When she's not busy sniffing out new smells or going on exciting escapades, Eden adores lounging around for cuddles and having her ears scratched behind the scenes. Why she's special: Eden has the most endearing "wink" when she sees you coming, and her tail wags with glee whenever she's having a paw-some time.
If you are interested, please call 928-771-6959 or email jrosenau@findlayauto.com
Findlay Subaru Prescott will be happy to cover the adoption fee just to find this little lady her future home!
