Findlay Subaru Prescott Participates in Annual Subaru Loves to Help Initiative with Operation Warm

That's why we're thrilled to announce our continued participation in the Subaru Loves to Help initiative, in partnership with Operation Warm. This year, our efforts are focused on benefiting the local Boys and Girls Club of Central Arizona with coat donations.

By partnering with Operation Warm, a national nonprofit organization, Subaru aims to provide brand-new, high-quality coats, shoes, and socks to children experiencing hardship[1]. This initiative ensures that children have the essentials they need to stay warm, attend school, and participate in life with confidence.

By working closely with the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arizona, we are able to directly impact the lives of children in our area. The Boys and Girls Club provides a safe and supportive environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive. Through our collaboration, we aim to enhance their efforts by providing much-needed warmth and comfort to the children they serve.

Thanks to the generosity of our customers and the dedication of our team, we are able to make a significant difference. This season, we will be distributing brand-new coats to children in need. These items are more than just essentials; they represent hope, confidence, and the opportunity for a brighter future[2].

The Donation Event: A Special Experience

One of the highlights of our donation event, happening February 5, 2025 at the Boys and Girls Club in Prescott Valley, is involving the children in a unique "shopping experience." Each child gets to choose their own coat from a variety of colors and sizes, try it on, and write their name inside. This simple act of personalization gives them a sense of ownership and pride, something they don’t often get to experience. For underserved children, having something they can call their own is incredibly important. It boosts their self-esteem and provides a tangible reminder that they are valued and cared for. We will have volunteers assisting children and families to select their coat ensuring a good fit, and helping them write their name on the tag. We will make it an event to remember by having coloring activities, a thank you card they can sign and getting their picture taken.
